Alpha Trion, keeper of the Covenant of Primus and the prophetic Quill, is unsurprisingly the guardian of Knowledge.
He takes this task incredibly seriously, writing down major events personally and overseeing the recording of minor ones. To aid him, he even has a small collection of tomes that write themselves, built specifically to harvest data that he supplies them and turn it into something legible. Because of this system, it is an easy jump for him to have imagined The Link Network, which comes from his schematics and Solus's hands. It connects individuals across the face of Cybertron and beyond, much as he is connected to his tomes.
Because Knowledge exists whether an individual is aware of it or not, Trion has been known to occasionally stumble across data that is out of place--coming from far away worlds or the distant future. Handily enough, however, it is this knowledge which allows him to understand the languages of many different individuals, giving The Link its powerful translation software. Especially with his connection to the Quill, he is aware of how dangerous information like that can be and keeps it locked up safely in his personal collection. He will dispense it as needed, but most often he prefers to guard it carefully, knowing it will have its place in due time.
Most sacred of all his books and data-pads within his guard is the reverent Covenant of Primus. In this, only the greatest of acts are recorded--past, present, and future. Many of the pieces he is writing make little sense to him, only becoming clear as he writes and then fading into obscurity. It is said the Covenant encompasses the entire history of Cybertron from beginning to end--which makes the prophesies of Alpha Trion true pronouncements of doom when he can remember them. Even more incredible, however, is the Quill's ability to change what he has written--altering the future or the past in small, subtle ways, filling in gaps and changing destinies. He works closely with Vector when this must be done, trusting his brother's sensitivity to the timestream to indicate potential problems as they occur.
Because of his link with Knowledge, Alpha Trion is most familiar with the ways the processor works. He can often tell how a given individual will act in a given situation based on how they've acted previously, which only lends to the impression that he can predict the future. Indeed, this is what he uses most often when fighting, employing tactics and his special brand of Knowledge (TM) to keep the enemy distracted while the others get in close to attack. He is deft at avoiding being hit...but when the need arises, he can dish out plenty enough damage with his staff.
Especially if he finds you talking in his library.
